There are a whole of things that you can do to ensure that you have your appliance for many years before having to go out and replace it. You can categorically wipe away the dirt with a damp cloth or sponge, and it only takes a few seconds to do so.

Every so often, you should give your microwave a categorically accepted cleaning. Unplug it, and using a detergent and water, clean the entire appliance, inside and out. Make sure that there is no dirt or debris clinging to corners, and don't forget to take out the carousel and give it a good scrubbing too.

  • Always read all of the instructions for the use of the appliance that is in the by hand that is provided.
  • Never put anyone metal in a microwave. Some people say it is alright to use aluminum foil, but just to be on the safe side, it isn't normally recommended.
  • Make sure that the appliance is grounded.
  • Only use the appliance for its intended purpose, which is to defrost, cook and reheat food.
  • If the plug is damaged in any way, do not use the appliance. Either have it repaired by a professional, or have it replaced.
  • Always make sure that children are supervised while operating the appliance.
  • Do not cook anyone in fulfilled, containers, as there is the risk of them exploding. Make sure that if there is a lid, that it is partially opened to allow steam to escape.

When you use the above tips to take care of your microwave, you will have an appliance that you will feel good about using to cook meals for your family. And by using the allowable care and maintenance, you will have an appliance that will last for many years to come.
