Our first video takes us into the sky as it appears when viewed with telescopes sensitive to wavelengths a thousand times more light than optical light. This is the kind of light, the hot food in the microwave. At these wavelengths, the brightest light contribution to the sky something called cosmic microwave background (CMB). We show maps of the CMB and explain how they are revealing what looked like before the universe 13700000000 13.7 years in a thin shellbillion light years away.
